Christmas in July
My current coping strategy is to fight fascism with whimsy. In a world that struggles to hold two things true, I’m on a mission to both acknowledge the reality of this moment in time and face it head on with a cup that I’ve been intentional to fill. To that end, I introduce you to The 12 Days of Christmas in July. Not a new concept, but one that I think would benefit us this year. Starting Sunday, July 5th, we are observing 12 Days of Christmas with calendars that outline different activities for the week. We will culminate the season with a Christmas with the Kranks movie night (13+ please!) as an opportunity to break up the summer heat with some good old fashioned wintery whimsy. Staying unnecessarily fanciful might just be the way we stay sane, so please join me for service on the 5th for our 12 Days of Christmas in July kickoff!

Family-friendly pizza night with other Ubcers. Come hang out and grab a slice!
Youth Family Pool Day!- Thursday, June 25th, 5-7:30pm
On June 25th, the UBC Youth is booked at 6 Sugar Creek Place for a family pool night 5-7:30pm! All members of the family are welcome, so if you have a loved one in the youth group, come hang out with us and bring a picnic dinner. We will have ice cream and popsicles for you as well. Hope to see you with us!

FATHER'S DAY DIAPER DRIVE
We'll be collecting diapers for the McLennan County Diaper Collective in honor of Father's Day on June 21st and June 28th! Drop off in the lobby.
Mealtrain for the Glovers
The Glovers have recently become licensed fosters and are welcoming their very first foster baby to their home— a newborn baby girl! Let’s wrap them in support, meals, prayers and love as they begin this journey.
Please Feed the Youths
We are looking for more volunteers to bring Youth Dinners over the coming months. If you or your household is interested, fill out this form.
The form has a place to put the household name and what food you plan on bringing. Please note that some of our students have dietary restrictions! We are so thankful for all of our friends who support our youth!

FIELD TRIP TO THINKERY & PARK FOR ALL!
Austin & Roundrock
Saturday, July 11 all day!
We’ll meet up at the Park for All in Round Rock around 10 am (Ubc time) and have a picnic and play, then head a little further South to the Thinkery Children’s Museum in Austin. Admission is free with a Mayborn Family Plus membership, if you have one. Reach out to me if you need any assistance. :)
Youth Retreat July 11th-12th!
When we go down to Austin for the day trip, all youth are invited to spend the night with Greer and Andie and Jeremy Peciller for an overnight Youth Retreat with friends, rest, swimming, and games! Cost is dependent on number of students signed up. Questions? Reach out to Greer!
