UBC Youth
Welcome to ubcYouth!
At University Baptist Church, we're grateful to have grown into a place that is trusted to support the spiritual development of our youth. UbcYouth is open to all students in the 6th to 12th grade. We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm to eat dinner, spend time together, and learn to engage with the Bible in a manner that is contextually appropriate and fosters spiritual development that includes all our neighbors. Students will also have time to split into small groups divided by grade level to further discuss lesson topics and share current life updates, highs, and lows. These groups are led by the youth pastor and volunteers. On Sunday mornings, youth are invited to attend our morning liturgy with their families. UbcYouth works to ensure that students experience the love and welcome of Jesus in safe, creative, and lasting ways. We believe that everyone we encounter carries the Image of God within them, and every student will be cared for, included, and respected for the individual they are.

VOLUNTEER
Been coming to UBC a while and want to get involved? We would love to have you join the youth volunteer rotation! We have need in Wednesday
nights for volunteers and small group facilitators along with friends to bring dinners for the students. We feed approximately 20 students every week through the kindness of our church community and are always looking formore people to bring what they can to help us provide good meals for these kids.

Gatherings
If you are interested in volunteering on Wednesday nights or other special events, please fill out this form, and Greer will reach out to you in order to talk through expectations, general Wednesday nights, and any other questions you may have. You will also be required to have a background check through the church, which Greer will initiate after meeting with you.

October 21 st : Hocus Pocus movie night with all UBC Halloween—no regular Youth Night
November 7 th High School Hangout 5:30pm (grades 9-12 only)
November 16 th : Fall/Thanksgiving craft night
November 25 th : Thanksgiving holiday—NO YOUTH NIGHT
