Cesar Chavez Partnership

Located just a few blocks from UBC, Cesar Chavez Middle School serves kids right in our neighborhood. Being a part of their lives as friends and mentors is both challenging and rewarding.

Lunch Buddies

UBC is in partnership with Cesar Chavez Middle School to help care for the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of its students. Our goal is to have 20 UBC'ers adopt a student as a lunch buddy. Lunch buddies meet with their students once a week during lunch, getting to know them, finding out what their needs are, and basically becoming their friends.

Soccer Club

On Sunday afternoons we get together with neighborhood kids to play a good old fashioned American game of soccer. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our neighbors in a fun, athletic environment.
